Email Deliverability Benchmark Report
Once a year Validity puts out their annual Email Deliverability report, detailing the challenges of global email deliverability and how senders should respond. The challenge with a report of this size and depth is to give the user the ability to consume the information without being overloaded by walls of text and complicated charts.
Basically, we needed to make a huge report without making it feel like it was a huge report.
We addressed this by creating an editorial style layout that is both simple and engaging, with a strong emphasis on typography (I will never stop loving Vitesse from HF&J!) and simple graphs featuring bold colors. We used large headlines and clearly defined sections to help the reader locate relevant information easily, and a subtle texture overlay to reduce eye strain.
This resulted in a very accessible design that not only looks good, but generated over 1,000 downloads and was shared widely within the email marketing community. View the full report here.
